How to Delete Your Healthiya Account

You own your health data. This page walks you through permanently deleting your Healthiya account — and everything stored with it — directly from the mobile app.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

Once you confirm deletion, your account is deactivated immediately and all of your health records, medications, reports, step history and family profiles are permanently deleted within 30 days. There is no recovery window, and Healthiya support cannot restore a deleted account.

If you simply want to pause your account and keep your data, choose Archive Account instead — see Archive instead of delete below.

Open your profile and tap Permanently Delete

Sign in to the Healthiya app with the account you want to remove, then open the account options menu from your profile.

  1. Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of the My Profile screen.
  3. Select Permanently Delete from the menu.

Confirm the deletion

A confirmation dialog explains exactly what will be removed. Read it carefully — this is the last point at which you can stop.

  1. Review the Permanently Delete Account? warning.
  2. Tap Delete Account to proceed, or Cancel to keep your account.

Your account is deleted

Healthiya signs you out immediately and returns you to the login screen with the confirmation “Account permanently deleted successfully.”

  1. Your account is deactivated straight away and your session ends on this device.
  2. Your credentials will no longer work on any device.
  3. Your remaining data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
  4. You may uninstall the app, or create a brand-new account at any time.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes your personal health information from Healthiya. A limited set of records may be retained only where we are legally required to keep them.

Permanently removed

  • Profile details, photo and login credentials
  • Medical conditions, allergies and family history
  • Uploaded records, lab reports and prescriptions
  • Medication schedules and reminders
  • Step counts, vitals and wellness history
  • Linked family member profiles you created
  • App preferences and notification settings

Retained for legal reasons

  • Billing and transaction records, where a purchase was made, for the period required by tax and accounting law
  • Security and audit logs required to detect fraud and abuse
  • Anonymised, aggregated statistics that can no longer be linked back to you

Your account is deactivated immediately. Everything listed on the left is then permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

Archive instead of delete

If you only want to step away for a while, the same three-dot menu offers Archive Account. Archiving hides your profile and pauses reminders and tracking, but keeps your health records intact so you can pick up exactly where you left off. Unlike deletion, archiving is reversible — sign in again to reactivate.

Choose Profile → ⋮ → Archive Account. Your data stays safe and encrypted, and you can restore your account at any time by logging back in.

Frequently asked questions

Can I recover my account after deleting it?

No. Permanent deletion is irreversible. Once the confirmation completes, neither you nor Healthiya support can restore the account or its records. If you may want the data later, archive the account instead.

How long does deletion take?

Your account is deactivated immediately — you are signed out at once and can no longer log in. The remainder of your data is then permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

Does deleting the app delete my account?

No. Uninstalling the Healthiya app only removes it from your device — your account and data remain on our servers. You must complete the in-app deletion steps above.

What happens to family members linked to my account?

Family profiles that you created under your account are deleted along with it. Family members who hold their own Healthiya account are unaffected; only the link between the accounts is removed.

I cannot access the app. How do I request deletion?

Email us from the address registered to your account and we will verify your identity and process the deletion on your behalf.
